A commotion is happening within the hospital room of Jay Gomezabino. He has apparently awaken from his coma in a very disoriented state of mind and has become violent with some of the staff. Doctors are seen running into the room along with several security guards. Suddenly you see the elevator door open and Joey Merlino, Johnny Fingers and Mikey Wall Street come running out of the elevator and straight into Jay's room. As security is trying to subdue Jay you can hear Johnny Fingers screaming at the guards to remove their hands from Jay as Mikey starts knocking people out left and right. As quick as he can swing his fists, people are hitting the floor around him. Before anyone can tell him to calm down, security starts to grab Mikey but it's to no avail as he slugs his way out of their grasp and finishes off the last four guards with ease and bodies are lying on the floor all around Jay's room as the nurses finally get everyone calmed down.

After the situation calms down, the guards leave the room a little bruised up from their encounter with Mikey, but they will live. Jay has finally calmed down and everyone has cleared the room except for the boys. John goes out into the hall with the doctor. John pulls out a wad of cash and takes five hundred bucks and shoves it into the doctors pocket. The doctor tries to refuse but John gives him a stern look and insists he keep it.

John: Look Doc, what happened in there...Things got a little out of hand.

Doctor: A little out of hand? You're kidding me right?

John: Whatever da fuck..listen.. Now that he is awake, he is a target.

Doctor: A target?

John: Let's not fuck around here ok? You know exactly who that is in that room.

Doctor: Yeah I know. And I can't wait till the lot of you is out of this hospital for good.

John: Yeah well, until then.. We are going to need more security on this wing. I don't want anyone in that room that shouldn't be in there Capische'?

Doctor: Aren't there police for that?

John: You getting fuckin jerky with me?

The doctor starts to look very uncomfortable as John scowls at him. A nurse walks over and asks if everything is ok. John looks at her and smiles and says it's all good. He then turns his gaze back on the Doctor. He pokes his finger into the doctors chest.

John: You better remember our little talk. I'll be in touch.

John walks away as the doctor slumps down into one of the many chairs lined up along the walls of the hallway. The same nurse comes over to see if the doctor is ok.

Nurse: Doctor? You alright?

Doctor: Jesus... I hate this job.

End of scene.

Scene 2: Wayout's Apartment

Wayout is sitting back watching the football game. He is drinking back the last beer as the phone rings. He answers the phone and after a brief conversation, he hangs up the phone. He get's up and begins to put on his jacket as he hears a knock at the door. He goes to the door and looks through the peep hole. He looks through and he can see 2 men standing there. He doesn't recognize them and he stays silent. He notices that the men are Chinese as he hears then talking with each other through the door. They knock again as Wayout sneaks down the hallway towards the bedroom. As he does he accidentally knocks over a wine bottle off the counter sending it crashing to the floor. He freezes. The two outside the door listen carefully. Suddenly one of the men pulls out a gun and begins trying to kick in the door. Wayout takes off running down the hall to his room. He pulls out a gun from the top dresser drawer and opens the bedroom window as he hears the front door come crashing in. As he is stepping out of the window, one of the men come running around the corner. Wayout lets off three shots that go ringing past the man's head sending him crashing to the floor trying to avoid being hit. It buys Wayout just enough time to get out of the window and down the fire escape.

As Wayout runs down the alleyway he can hear shots ringing past him. As he nears the end of the alley, a shot hits him in the shoulder sending him hurling to the ground in pain. He can hear the two men running down the alley after him and that is enough incentive to get him back on his feet right into a dead run out of the alley with bullets zinging past him as he enters the busy street. Cars are screeching to a halt all around him as he dodges traffic left and right with the two men right on his heels. As he rounds the corner of a building he turns and lets off two shots, one of which hits one of the men in the leg, sending him to the ground but the second man keep on chasing Wayout, who is losing a lot of blood now from his wound. He can feel himself losing consciousness. He sees an opportunity as a mail van is parked at a red light. Wayout runs up and points his gun in the drivers face.

Wayout: GET OUT OF THE FUCKING VAN... GET OUT OR I'LL KILL YOU I FUCKING SWEAR!

The man leaps out of the van and Wayout jumps in and speeds off. The other attacker rounds the corner but it is too late as he watches Wayout speed off down the road in the stolen mail truck.

Scene 3: The Gomezabino Compound

John is having a meeting with several members of the organization. As the camera pans around the room you can see many familiar faces such as Joey Merlino, Steve Mazzone, Rocco Salieri, Joseph Gomezabino, Mikey Wallstreet, Anthony "Caesar" Capulanno, Tommy Gomezabino, Stefano Lorino and Slick Rick. They all have their eyes fixed on John as he and Joe go about telling the men of Jay's current condition. As John talks to the guys he slowly looks around the room at each of them as he speaks.

John: The Boss is back, but we are not out of the woods just yet. Word on the street has it that Jimmy Chang blames us for that attempt on his life last week. Now I don't know if any of you were involved in that but if you were, I suggest you come forward now because if I find out any of you were in on that.. I'll fucking kill you myself!

Joe: Nobody has heard from Ritchie, Akasha or Crystal in over a week. Now I don't know if anything has happened to them or not, but until we find out otherwise we will assume they are still alive. I want all of you to send out your guys and comb the city. Somebody knows what happened that day..we just need to find him.

John: We are going to need extra muscle watching the Boss until we get him home. If Chang blames us for that attempt, he just may be stupid enough to try to get to Jay.

As they are talking, Joey Merlino's cell phone rings. He answers it and hangs it up a few minutes later. He interrupts the conversation.

Joey: Not to add more fuel to the fire, but I just got a call from Wayout. He is out at Doc Cameron's lakeside Home. Two of Chang's Dobermans just tried to kill him. He was shot in the shoulder. He said he hit one of them but doesn't know how bad. I told him to stay there until you contact him.

John: You see? This is the kind of shit I was hoping to avoid. The Boss wakes up out of a coma to find us in the middle of a fucking war?

Steve Mazzone: Whoa... we are hardly at war here. It's getting out of hand, yes, but war? Let's not make this bigger than it is John.

John: War or no war Steve, something has got to be done and done fast. Jay is home in less than 2 days. What the fuck do you guys think he is going to do?

The men just sit in silence as they look around the room at each other. Caesar looks at the men then stands up.

Caesar: I don't know about the rest of you. But I am sick and tired of walking on fucking egg shells around those cock sucking chinks! We were in these neighbourhoods before them and we will be here long after them. I say it's about time we went down there and brought this fight to them..old school!

Joe: Sit the fuck down! Jesus Christ.. is that all you guys want? More bloodshed? You remember this.. If we are in a war, we are not earning. If we are not earning, then we may as well throw in the towel now cause what the fuck are we here for in the first place? We are not the army. You guys just don't get it. We are a money making machine and right now we need to find a way to keep this machine going without drawing the attention of those who would like to see us, for the most part, dead or at the very least, locked up for the rest of our natural born lives!

John: I've sent word to Chang's people. I have requested a sit-down with Chang's Boss, Shaolin Tao.

Tommy: Fuck the sit-downs John. They killed Carlito, we demand revenge!

John: You don't know that Tom. You can't go off half cocked. Innocent people dying isn't what we are about.

Tommy: Fuck that John! You know damn well they killed Carlito.

Joe: If they killed him, why the fuck can't we find Ritchie or the others? Why didn't Chang kill them and leave them for us to find as well?

Tommy sits there in silence as Joe stares at him. Joe looks at the others in the room.

Joe: Ok, let's not let things turn into issues where there are none. You are all Captains. You all run your crews as you see fit. All I ask is this.. nobody makes a move against Chang. We all wait and listen to what Jay wants. In the meantime, we do what we can to locate Ritchie and the others.

Caesar: I will go stay with Jay. I have a feeling he will need us there tonight.

Mikey: I'll go with you, Tommy and I will bring some of our guys. Nobody is getting to the Boss tonight.

John: In the meantime, keep as low a profile as you can. We don't need the feds up our ass wondering what the hell we're up to. Last thing we need is the Boss getting arrested just after coming out of a damn coma.

With that everyone stands up and hugs each other as they all begin to leave the room. Each of the men leave the house and get into separate vehicles. As they leave the compound they can see an unmarked vehicle sitting just outside the compound. It is a very obvious federal vehicle. Each of the men drive by the vehicle giving the occupants the finger. The two agents in the car just stare at each of the cars as they drive by.

Scene 4: CW General Hospital.

Two of Jimmy Chang's men are lurking across the street of the hospital. They can see Tommy and Caesar wandering around near the lobby. They decide to cut across the street and down the back alley to the service entrance. They patiently wait for someone to come outside. Sure enough, about 30 minutes later, a janitor is seen coming out the door with bags of garbage. He walks over to the dumpster and throws them in. As he turns around he is confronted by one of the men who quickly and quietly kills the man with a quick snap of his neck in a twist off fashion. The janitor falls dead to the ground. Jimmy's guy takes the keys from the dead janitor and they make their way into the hospital.

Meanwhile, up in Jay's room we see John, Joey and Mikey sitting in Jay's room with Jay as well as Rocco and Steve waiting in the hall. All seems quiet for the moment. Jay is sleeping, while a nurse is seen checking him over. She looks at John.

Nurse: You don't have to worry. Your friend is doing great. Once the medication wares off, we can get a better idea of when he can leave.

John: You think he will be able to leave in the morning?

Nurse: I can't say for sure, but the Doctor will be doing his rounds later this evening. You can ask him for yourself.

John: Thanks, I'll do that.

The nurse finishes up and leaves the room as Rocco comes inside to talk to John. He motions for John to come over to him, away from Jay. John and Rocco go into the hall and away from the other men. They stop and start to talk in whispers.

John: What's up?

Rocco: I just got word that Crystal and Akasha are with Stefano.

John: Where the fuck they been?

Rocco: They were with Ritchie. They said Ritchie flipped the fuck out and went after Jimmy. He told them they were only going to scare him but he took it too far. They got away from him and called Stefano.

John: Got away from him? What the fuck does that mean?

Rocco: John, we need to find Ritchie.

John: What the fuck are you not telling me?

Rocco: Carlito and Ritchie got into an argument over the Chang incident. Carlito freaked out and attacked Ritchie. Ritchie shot him.

John: Get the fuck outta here. Ritchie killed Carlito?

Rocco: That's what Crystal says.

John: We grew up with Ritchie..Carlito and Ritchie grew up together. What the fuck was he thinking?

Rocco: That's not all of it.

John: What do you mean by that?

Rocco: The feds have Ritchie.

John: How do they know that?

Rocco: Crystal said they got away in the confusion. The cops apparently stormed the apartment complex they were held up in when they heard the gun shot. Crystal and Akasha got out the back while Ritchie was getting nailed out front.

John: They were able to just "get away?"

Rocco: That's what she said.

John: They are positive Ritchie is in custody?

Rocco: They are sure of it.

John runs his hand through his hair and lets out a loud sigh. He slowly walks back towards the room. He looks inside and sees that Jay is awake and talking to Mikey and Joey. Jay looks over at John with a smile on his face but it soon fades when he sees the look on Johns face. Joey and Mikey leave the room as John enters the room and closes the door.
