The camera pans down the hallway past a number of people who can be seen waiting in the hall talking. Some of them are visibly upset while others seem to be arguing back and forth. Everyone goes silent as the elevator opens and out walks Johny Fingers and Donovan. They walk up to Steve Mazzone who is standing with Joey Merlino.

John: How bad is it?

Mazzone: He took 5 in the chest and 1 in the throat. they have been working on him for the last seven hours straight.

Donovan: Any sign of Sonny yet?

Merlino: Caesar is on it.

Donovan: Send them over to Gus's poll hall. Sonny's cousin works down there.

Merlino: You got it.

John and Donovan walk into the ICU ward to ask the head nurse about Joe's condition.

John: How is Mr. Gomezabino doing?

Head Nurse: I'm sorry, unless you are a family member, I cannot give you any information.

John slips a 100 dollar bill into her top and smiles.

John: We are related.

The nurse tucks the money away and grabs Joe's chart.

Head Nurse: The surgeon is still in with him. they have him stabilized for now but it is still too early to tell.

Donovan: Can we go in an see him?

Head Nurse: I don't think that would be a very good idea at this point in time however, you can look through the window over there when he is brought up from surgery.

A short while later one of the guys is heard saying they are bringing Joe up from surgery. As they doctor wheels Joe's bed into the recovery room, the men look upset and shaken as they see Joe with tubes and wires coming out of everywhere. He is heavily bandaged and is hooked up to a respirator. The sound of the respirator working can be heard out in the hall. John and Donovan are looking at Joe through the glass.

John: If he dies, so help me...

Donovan: (Grabs John) He is not going to die! Stop thinking negative. Joe is strong. He can survive this.

As the doctor comes out of the room, John grabs him by the arm.

John: Doc, tell me straight. Is Joe going to make it?

The doctor looks at John for what seems like an eternity.

Doctor: All I can say is this.. if he lives through the night, he will have a 50/50 chance of recovery, but if he does recover, I am afraid your friend will never walk again. The bullets for the most part missed all his vital organs, but a single bullet severed his spinal chord. We tried to repair the damage but the bullet was lodged so deep that when we tried to remove it the pressure on the spinal chord was too great and it was severed.

John: He will never walk again?

Doctor: I am afraid not. I am sorry gentlemen.

Donovan: Thank you Doc.

The camera pans out as the men gather around John and Donovan.

Scene 2: Gus's pool hall

There are several people around the pool hall playing various games and talking amongst their little segregated groups around the establishment. The music is playing and Sonny's cousin Mike is behind the counter wiping it down with a rag. While he is wiping down the counter, Teddy Zerilli, Roger Gotti, Caesar and Mac come strolling down the stairs. Nobody seems to be noticing them. They slowly make their way around the pool hall and slowly make their way to the counter. Caesar walks up to the counter as the other men spread out around the bar. As Caesar walks around the counter, Mike looks up at him with a surprised look on his face.

Mike: Caesar...hey, what brings you downtown?

Suddenly the music stops and the other men pull out guns and yell for everyone to get on the floor, which everyone in the pool hall does immediately. Mike is shaking but somehow he is managing to hold his composure in front of Caesar.

Caesar slowly walks up to Mike. He puts his hand on Mikes shoulder and pulls out a knife.

Caesar: Where is he Mikey?

Mike: I don't know what you are talking about.

Caesar: Wrong answer!

Caesar stabs his knife deep into Mike's shoulder causing Mike to let out a blood curdling scream. Mac walks over and helps Mike to stay on his feet while Caesar talks to him.

Caesar: I will ask you one more time Mike. Where is he?

Mike: I don't fucking know Anthony, I swear to God. You and I grew up together for fuck sake man, why are you doing this to me.

Caesar: I'm sorry you feel that way.

Caesar pulls out his gun and shoots Mike point blank in the face splattering blood all over the wall and all over Mac.

Mac: Fucking Asshole! I told you I hate it when you do that to me ya prick!

Caesar looks at the men on the floor.

Caesar: (Yelling) ANYONE SEEN SONNY PROVENZANO?? YOU FUCKS SEE HIM YOU TELL ONE OF US. HE IS WANTED BY THE DEGRAZZIO FAMILY. YOU TELL SONNY THAT CAESAR IS LOOKING FOR HIM!

With that, they leave the pool hall with Mike slumped in the corner covered in blood which is still spurting from his head. The camera pans out as the men start to get up off the floor and walk over to Mike's lifeless body.

Scene 3: CWPD Headquarters.

Captain Brady is in his office reading over some paper work. The Police Chief storms into the room and heads over to Brady's office. He opens the door without even knocking and slams it shut behind him. The other officers in the room can hear the muffled sound of the Chief screaming at Brady. The camera switches to the office.

Chief: 4 pieces of shit walk into Gus's pool hall tonight and kill a man in front of over 30 witnesses and nobody saw anything? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE BRADY??

Brady: I got our guys on it sir but without more personnel on this case, I can only do so much.

Chief: More men? Do you think I am insane? This fucking case is over 5 years old and so far you have managed to keep 1 fucking man in prison.

Brady: He is the Boss of the damn family...what more do you want from me?

Chief: I want that family brought down Captain and I am running out of patience with you. You bring me something solid within the next 24 hours or the next case you work will involve a pen and a parking meter!

With that the Chief storms back out of the office and out of the room. Everyone else in the room looks over at Brady who is standing in the door of his office. Brady looks at everyone else and they suddenly go back to what they were doing. Brady goes back into his office and closes the door behind him.

End of scene.

Scene 4: Gambale Compound

Lady Gambale has called a meeting of some of her top men. Seated at the table are Angelo Gambale, Bulleseye Pappalia, Billy Caputo and Antonio Falcone. Lady is walking around the table and she is visible upset and the men are visibly nervous of her body language. She pauses for a second then stands at the head of the table.

Lady: Respect! That's what this is about now! Provenzano directly disrespected Me and this family with his senseless attack on Joseph Gomezabino. It has come to my attention that he is going to be paralyzed from this shit.

Billy: Jesus... Where the fuck is Sonny now?

Lady: That's why you are all here... I want him brought to me..ALIVE!!

Bullseye: Alive? He deserves what he's got comin. If the Degrazzio's find him first, they will surely kill him.

Lady: Then I suggest you get out there and find him!

The scene changes to Sonny driving down the highway in a stolen car. He is drinking and is extremely drunk. The car is swaying back and forth as he almost forces another car off the road. He is driving along and lights up a smoke as he sees a police car racing up behind him with it's lights flashing. Sonny begins to laugh as he rolls down the window and throws his beer out the window. The bottle smashes against the pavement as the police car pulls right up behind Sonny's car which is now travelling down the road at a turtle's crawl of 20 miles an hour.

Sony puts his arm out the window and motions for the cop car to go around which sends the police officers inside into a hysterical laughter.

Officer #1: Look at this fuckin guy.

Officer #2: We gotta get him to stop somehow.

The police car pulls out in front of Sonny and then pulls back in front of him. They slowly bring both cars to a complete stop by slowing their vehicle down and allowing Sonny's to gently bump into theirs allowing them to apply the breaks long enough to stop the vehicles and grab Sonny. Sonny is sitting in the vehicle laughing and yelling out obscenities to the officers who are finding the whole situation quite amusing. They begin to walk over to Sonny who is trying to open his door. As his door swings open the officers look at each other and smile as Sonny falls out of the car and hits the ground. The officers start to walk over to Sonny and suddenly Sonny pulls out a gun and shoots both officers in the head. They both hit the ground and Sonny stands up and looks down at them as cars are speeding by with people looking on in horror.

Sonny: I hate cops.

Sonny spits on the dead bodies and returns to his car and pulls away leaving the officers laying dead beside their car.

End of scene.

Scene 5: CW State Pen

Jay is in the visiting area talking with john who has come to see him. Jay is obviously enraged at the recent turn of events. Other inmates look on as they hear Jay yelling and screaming about what has happened to Joe. He realizes what he is doing and calms down immediately.

John: That's not everything Jay.

Jay: Joe's gonna make it right?

John: Uh, Yeah.. he is gonna make it..

Jay: John, you tell me everything right here..right now.

John takes a deep breath and begins..

John: The doctor says that Joe is going to be paralyzed. He said the bullet in his spine severed the spinal column. They did everything they could.

Jay sits back in his chair and lets the news sink in.

Jay: He didn't deserve this John. Joe's always been a stand up guy to each and every one of you. That cocksucker Sonny is out of control.

John: The feds are tying him to us. They are saying his is a renegade gangster.

Jay: Gangster? That mother fucker doesn't know the first thing about being a gangster. He is a fucking punk!

Jay grabs John and pulls him close.

Jay: You find him John... I don't care what it costs. I don't care how you do it. I want him gone.

John: It's done..

The scene changes to a small cabin just outside of town. Sonny pulls up, still drunk, laughing about the cops he just killed. He stumbles up the front porch and fumbles around in his pockets for a few minutes searching for his keys.  He finally gets his keys and opens the door. The house is dark but he sees the silhouette of a man running through the house. Sonny yells out at him but the man runs out the back door. SOnny, although very drunk, seems to give chase quite quickly. They both head down the woods running through the small thicket of trees just past the pond. The unknown man runs into a dark thicket of trees as Sonny follows him in. Sonny comes through the trees and trips over a log and lands on his chest at the feet of someone. He slowly looks up and sees Teddy Zerilli and Caesar.

He looks around and sees the unknown man who turns out to be Bullseye as he removes the hood from his head. A noise is heard from behind the bush and out steps Lady and Crystal Genovese.

Crystal: Oh, how cute. He wants to grovel.

Lady: (Laughing) Oh this is rich..Sonny Provenzano on his belly like the fuckin snake that he is.

Sonny: (Stands up) I aint no snake and I haven't done anything to you guys.

Caesar: (Reaches over punching Sonny in the face sending him to the ground) Joe lived cocksucker..you won't!

Sonny: Get the fuck off me. I didn't shoot Joe?

Lady: Oh Jesus .. We made a mistake guys. HE didn't do it.

Teddy: Little Jimmy Calabretti saw you there just before Joe was shot you fucking liar!

Sonny: So what the fuck you gonna do about this?

Lady: Oh I think Crystal has a few ideas for ya.

Crystal pulls out a large knife as Caesar and Teddy grab Sonny...
