Sonny is playing pool with Bullseye. As they are playing, the waitress brings them another drink. She sets it on the table just as Bullseye tries to sink the eight ball and misses.

Bullseye: Sonova bitch!

Sonny: That's 50 bucks you owe me now.

Bullseye: Ah blow me. That bitch distracted me.

Sonny: Fuck that, you owe me 50 bucks.

Bullseye: Alright alright hold your panties on.

As Bullseye hands Sonny 50 bucks, they hear the bell above the door. They look up and see Joe standing there. He is dressed in a grey trench coat and grey fedora. He is flanked by two bodyguards which he instructs to take a seat at the bar. Joe looks in Sonny's direction and Bullseye calmly walks over and sits at the bar. Joe walks into the back of the bar where Sonny is seated. Sonny is seated by this time and taking a sip of his drink as Joe walks up and stands over him. The hulking size of Joe seems to dwarf Sonny almost in an eclipse like fashion.

Joe: I fucking cried for you cocksucker. I made sure your sister was taken care of. I even sent money to your mother on a regular basis. And for what? So you could make me look like a fucking fool?

Sony: I can explain..

Joe: Shut the fuck up. It's time for you to listen for a change.

Sonny: Joe, Stone was dirty. He was going to let me take the fall for those kids he shot. I couldn't go to jail for something I had no part of. I wasn't a rat Joe.

Joe: How the fuck did you manage to fool the coroner? They had a body?

Sonny: The body was easy, we just killed some bum and left him in the car before we blew it up.

Joe: they identified you by your dental records?

Sonny: That part was a painful one.

Sonny reaches up and pulls out a plate from his mouth revealing that all of his teeth have been pulled.

Sonny: We had a friend put my teeth into the dead guy.

Joe: You are fucking disgusting, you know that?

Sonny: We had to do it Joe. And when I heard Stone was killed, I was just wondering how I could come out without you killing me first. That's why I had Bullseye call you.

Joe sits down across from Sonny and stares at him for a long time.

Joe: What's your connection to Gambale?

Sonny: She's my cousin. Her father is my Fathers cousin. We grew up together. She was the only one I could turn to. As far as I was concerned, you wanted me dead.

Joe: How do I know you aren't making this shit up for the feds?

Sonny: You know me Joe. I would do a thousand years for this family but I was not going to jail for a fucking dirty agent! I need you to talk to Jay. I need back in.

Joe: You want back in? You will be lucky if Jay lets you live.

Sonny: I came to you Joe. My life is in your hands.

Joe: And where is Gambale in all of this?

Sonny: She is the one who suggested I reach out. She says she will not interfere no matter what the outcome. She is old school Joe. Her father taught her well.

Joe sits there for a long while then he stands up. He looks at Sonny as the waitress brings Sonny and Joe a drink compliments of Bullseye.

Sonny: So you going to talk to Jay for me?  

Joe smiles and grabs the drink. He drinks it down in two gulps and put the glass on the table. He looks at Sonny and Bullseye.

Joe: Why don't you take that up with your new family.

Joe then turns around and walks to the door where his bodyguards are waiting. Joe turns to Sonny.

Joe: You know something Sonny, You could have come to me but you always choose to do things your way instead of the old way. Don't force my hand...don't ever force my hand.

With that, Joe turns and walks out the door leaving Sonny and Bullseye sitting at the table in silence.

Scene 2: Gambale Family Compound

Sonny is in the den talking with Lady Gambale. He is in a fit of rage over what has just transpired between him and Joe.

Sonny: That fat fuck! He thinks he can intimidate me with his tuff guy tactics. Fuck him!

Lady G: Did you expect him to welcome you back with open arms? He thought you were dead.

Sonny: Fuck him! If he was any kind of friend, he would just be happy I was alive.

Lady G: Perhaps that is your problem. You refer to him as your friend. Do we really have friends in this thing of ours?

Sonny: I should go to his house right now and put a fucking bullet in his fat head!

Lady G: Now you are talking stupid. You kill him and you got John, Jay, Joey and Santino to worry about, not to mention Carlito is related to them as well. This guy has more family that a batch of rabbits. They pop up out of the wood work.

Sonny: He is far from untouchable. You will see.

Lady G: You better have the balls to back up a move like that. You will start a fuckin war with that kind of talk. I for one will not support such a move.

Sonny: We are family. You want to turn your back on me in my darkest hour?

Lady G: I got to where I am today because I think before I react. I am surprised you are still alive.

Sonny: You know what, fuck you too. I don't need to be shit on by my own cousin.

Lady G: I am just saying, you need to have muscle for a move like that. I am not willing to lose any of my people over a senseless war. Just be content in the fact that they have let you go. You are free to stay with us.

Sonny: Fuck that! I know Joseph Gomezabino. He will not let this go. He will come for me. Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow..but one day,. He will come for me.

Lady G: Oh Jesus Christ will you stop with the drama. He isn't going to come for you. I assure you, if he wanted you dead, he would have killed you in the pub.

Sonny: I gave them fifteen years of my life. They turn their back on me?

Lady G: And so it goes.

Sonny: This is one guinea that he is not going to walk all over. Bank on it!

Scene 3: The Crime City Waterfront District

Joe is on his way down to one of his stops. He is going to see Billy Caputo along the way. As he is about to get out of his car, his cell phone rings.

Joe: (Answering the phone) Yeah... yeah I'm right outside, just meet me out here. We can walk and talk.

Joe hangs up the phone and stands outside his car and lights up a cigar. The air is a bit chilly so he reaches into the car and pulls out his trench coat and puts it on. Billy is seen looking at Joe through the window of the store. He takes a deep breath then walks out to greet him. They both greet each other in the traditional way with a hug and kiss on both cheeks.

Billy: Congrats kid, I heard about the promotion.

Joe: Thanks, it's been a long time comin. Why you got me out here in the cold like this. I'm gettin hungry.

Billy: Let's walk.. (Both men start walking down the docks and talking. The camera pans back and the view shows a giant freighter in the harbour being loaded with box cars. As the crates are being loaded, the camera pans back to Joe and Billy.

Joe: Ok, so tell Lady that you guys can bring your ships in here but I want 20% for my end. I will make sure your freight is well protected.

Billy: She needs reassurance from you on this one. This next shipment is crucial to the next step of our expansion.

Joe: Just as long as you don't start eating out of my fridge Capische'?

Billy: We would never do that to you Joe. You treat us well and you show Lady the respect she deserves.

Joe: She's always been go to my brother and I. You tell her she has my word. Now if there is nothing else, I have some business to finish down here.

Billy: Actually Joe, there is something.

Billy starts to appear nervous which in turn makes Joe start to look around.

Billy: It's about Sonny.

Joe: What about him?

Billy: Joe, please keep this between us. If Lady knew about this she would have me killed immediately.

Joe: What ever you say to me stays with me Billy.

Billy: I hear Sonny and Lady talking. Sonny was in a rage. He was going on and on about how you disrespected him and how you turned your back on him.

Joe: So what? That cunt should count himself lucky I didn't shoot him when I saw him!

Billy: I think he is going to try and kill you Joe.

Joe: Get the fuck outta here! Sonny? he don't got the fuckin balls!

Billy: He mentioned it to Lady and she told him he was talking crazy of course.

Joe: (Yelling) She with him on this shit?

Billy: Jesus Christ No. She told him she will not support such a move.

Joe: So why you telling me this? What do you have to gain from it.

Billy: I may not like you a lot of the time, but I respect you and what your family has done for us.

Joe: You really think he will try this?

Billy: I really do Joe.

The camera pans out as they begin to walk back to Joe's car.

Scene 4: CW State Pen

Joe is seated at a visitor's table waiting for the guard to escort Jay into the visiting station. Joe is reading a magazine while he waits. Guards are walking around the various tables in the room which other inmates occupy. As Joe is flipping through the pages, the sound of the main door opening is heard. Joe looks up over the magazine and see's Jay coming through the door. He is looking pale in colour and about 40 pounds lighter. Joe has a look of concern come over his face as Jay sits down and the guards walk away.

Joe: You look like shit bro, what the hel happened to you in here?

Jay: Don't worry. I'm getting over the flu. Nothing to worry about. What's up.

Joe: I was doing my usual pickups down the waterfront and I ran into an old friend. Seems Sonny is not happy with our decision to banish him from our world. Apparently the little fuck is gonna have me whacked?

Jay: He doesn't have the fuckin balls for a move like that.

Joe: I'm not willing to take that chance with this guy. I know what he's capable of.

Jay: Does he have anyone with him on this?

Joe: No idea.

Jay: You know where he is?

Joe: He was at the Gambale Compound. Now before you get the wrong idea, I have already been assured that they are not helping him and that in fact he was asked to leave the compound right after he went into his rage about killing me.

Jay: We should have killed this prick a long time ago. You and Ritchie take care of this. Send Arnie Ratule and Roger Gotti to pick up Sonny. Have them meet you and Ritchie out at my cousins farm. He will be there waiting for you. He will help you take care of Sonny.

Joe: It isn't going to be that easy.

Jay: I'm in this fuckin shit can. You are on the street. Figure it the fuck out! Now get the fuck outta here..(Yells) GUARD! WE'RE FUCKIN DONE HERE!

Jay stands up sending his chair flying backwards across the room and he storms off through the main door where the guards are already waiting for him. Joe walks off with another guard and leaves the building.

Scene 5: Degrazzio Sanitation Main Office

Ritchie is sitting behind his desk watching t.v. His feet are up and he seems to have fallen asleep in his chair. As he is sitting there in his chair, Arnold Ratule and Roger Gotti walk into the office. They both have a grin on their face as Ritchie is sleeping in his chair unaware of their presence. Arnold cleares his throat in a loud manner that startles Ritchie awake. HE quickly removes his feet off the desk and faces the two men.

Ritchie: (Yawns) Holy shit..I fell asleep. This new medication I'm on is hitting me hard.

Arnold: Meds? You ok Boss?

Ritchie: Oh yeah I am fine. Just have a bum knee that acts up once in a while. Eventually I will need to replace the kneee itself, but it's a waiting list. So for now..(Holds up a pill bottle) These little guys are my best frined!

Roger: What you got for us.

Ritchie: Eager.. I like that. Rude, I don't!

Roger steps back and shuts up while Ritchie and Arnold talk.

Ritchie: I want you and Roger to go see Sonny. He is staying in the projects with a guy by the name of Sal Vitale. Sal is a fuckin punk crack dealer from way back. The guy weighs 80 pounds soaking wet!

Both men break into laughter as Ritchie pours himself a drink.

Ritchie: The Ole man wants Sonny brought to the property upstate. Joe and I will meet you there.

Arnold: What about Sal?

Ritchie: Fuck Sal. If he gets in the way, kill him..and Roger..

Roger: yeah?

Ritchie: We want him alive..Capische'? You kill him and you go as well.

Roger: Why you always gotta go off on me like that. I fucked up one fuckin time Ritchie..One fuckin time and you gotta bust my fuckin balls every fuckin time we see each other.

Ritchie: Fuck you cocksucker. My best friend died because of you. The only fuckin reason you are alive is because for some stupid fuckin reason, Joe likes you.

Roger: It wasn't my fault you stupid sonova bitch!

Ritchie Stands up and throws his desk out of the way and slams Roger against the wall. Arnold is trying to come between them and Ritchie starts punching and kicking Roger until Roger is kneeling on the floor. Ritchie is in an uncontrollable rage. He throws Arnold to the floor and picks up Roger and begins to viciously beat him until he is almost unconscious. He grabs Roger and pulls him up to his knees.

Ritchie: You and Arnold do what you are told. If you ever talk to me like that again. I'll kill you. Don't ever forget it! Now get the fuck outta my office.

Arnold picks up Roger who is bleeding badly but not to worse for wear considering the beating he just received at the hands of Ritchie Degrazzio.

Scene 6: Downtown Bakery

Joe is in the bakery waiting in line. He is looking through the selection of pastries and sandwiches to choose from. He finally gets to the counter and asks for a box of strudels and two loaves of fresh baked bread. He pays for the items and chats with the store owner for a while. Joe finishes the conversation and walks out of the store. It is a beautiful morning. Blue skies, birds chirping. It seems like something out of a Disney movie. Joe begins to get his keys from his jacket. His Bodyguards Vinnie and Lewy Come down from the apartment upstairs.

Lewy: Here's the envelope Joe. It's all there.

Joe: I knew it would be. Old man Guiletti is always on time. Look, You and Vinnie can go home. I won't need you today.

Lewy: You sure? We don't mind hangin with ya.

Joe: No, it's ok. I have somewhere to be today. And I don't think SHE would appreciate you "Hangin" with me.

Lewy: Ahh, enough said (Chuckles) ok Boss, you can call me on my cell if you need me.

Joe: Will Do Lewy.

Lewy and Vinnie get into their car and drive off. Joe puts his key in the door of his car. He opens the door and puts his stuff in the backseat before getting in. As he is about to get in he hears someone call out his name. He turns to see Sonny standing there holding a gun. Joe's face turns a shade of white and he is visibly sweating. He attempts to grab his gun from the car.

Sonny: (Yelling) Don't even think about it you fat fuck!

Joe: (Stands up straight) So this is how it ends for us eh prick?

Sonny: Don't give me that cocksucker! You were going to kill me and you know it. It was only a matter of time.

Joe: If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you myself.

Sonny: You know... I always looked up to you Joe. You showed me a lot. Taught me the old ways. But when I reached out to you..all I got from you was silence. You turned your back on me. Well you will never do that to me again you balding fat fuck!

Joe goes to reach for his gun again but Sonny blast away. Six shots in all are heard and when the smoke clears, Joe is lying in a pool of blood. Sony stands over Joe trembling. He looks down at Joe and he breaks into tears. He reaches down and touches Joes head and begins to cry. He looks one last time at Joe and says he is sorry as he runs off into the alley. The camera pans back as people gather around Joe's lifeless body. As the camera is panning back you can see and ambulance and police cars racing to the scene.
