Scene 2: Totino's Safehouse

The camera pans down from the roof of a warehouse. Below, several workers in white overalls can be seen refining cocaine on tables under lamps in a make shift lab just outside the city. Totino is walking around upstairs looking out over the workers as they continue about their jobs unaware they are being watched. He starts to talk to one of his men, John Pappalia, about the recent events that have gone down. He is aware of the predicament with the Degrazzio family and is now looking for a way to resolve it.

TOTINO: We need to meet with this guy..reason with him. It was a simple mistake. It could have happened to anybody.

JOHN PAPPALIA: I here this guy is a hot head. I asked around. He comes from the old country or something. He has alot of friends GT.

TOTINO: What do you suggest?

JOHN PAPPALIA: I don't know..maybe..offer him a cut?

TOTINO: (Shouting) No Fuckin Way... That isn't even an option!

JOHN PAPPALIA: Ok, Ok, I was just sayin.. this guy, he aint gonna let it go like the others. This one was his brother GT. He will come for us. Question is, do we wait for him, or do we move first?

The camera pans out while focusing on Totino's face. The scene fades out as Totino sits in his chair, deep in thought.

Scene 3: Crime City Police Department Friday 2:30 pm

Camera pans into the police department where mayhem is breaking out as cops are bringing in a bunch of bikers that have just been arrested in a large undercover operation. Police Captain, Jim Brady, is in his office looking at some paper work. An officer abruptly opens his door and startles him.

OFFICER: Sorry to interrupt sir, but I think we have a situation down in lock up.

BRADY: Must I do EVERYTHING around here?

He stands up and goes over to his locker. He opens it and retrieves a shotgun and heads downstairs. He walks into the room where officers are having problems detaining one of the bikers.

As the biker is spewing out obscenities and trying to fight off his attackers, Brady walks right up and slams the butt of his shotgun into the side of the bikers head, sending him sailing to the floor unconscious.

BRADY: Lock this asshole up with the others.

OFFICER#2: His lawyer will have a field day with that one Captain.

BRADY: I didn’t see anything except a man falling over his own two feet. Did you?

OFFICER#2: No Sir.. I guess I didn’t.

Brady leaves the detention area and heads back to his office. He has had a long stressful day and the incident with the biker actually made him feel a lot better. He picks up a stack of papers from the inbox and walks into his office where he finds a woman waiting for him. He stares at her legs as he slowly looks her up and down. She is a very attractive young woman in her early twenties. She is wearing a short skirt but is dressed very business like. He can’t help but be captivated by her beauty.

BRADY: Who are you and what are you doing in my office?

WOMAN: Irene Waters, District Attorneys office. We are working on the Gomezabino murder case and we were wondering if there is anything you can do to help us out? The door was open, I hope you don’t mind.

BRADY: I’ve already given you guys all I have on the case. There were no witnesses and all we do have on it, isn’t even admissible in court and is sketchy at best. I’m sorry you wasted your time Ms. Waters.

WATERS: We are on the same side here Captain. You're hostility over this case isn’t warranted. I am just trying to do my job!

She leaves his office leaving the door open. Brady’s phone begins to ring as he watches her leave the building.

BRADY: Brady here.

Sound of a voice on the other end.

BRADY: I’ll be right there.

Brady grabs his coat and heads out the door. He looks at one of the officers on his way out and tells them to hold all calls to him. The scene changes over as he gets into his car.

Scene 4: Down Town Crime City

The police are on the scene of a brutal triple homicide. The bodies of three unidentified men are found in a dumpster in the alley of an old abandoned warehouse. Police lines are up everywhere and officers can be seen holding the press back as the coroners remove the bodies. Brady walks over to Sergeant Wilcox, who is currently the officer in charge of the investigation.

BRADY: What do we got Frank?

WILCOX: Three dead bodies, all gunshots to the head. Time of death is roughly within the last 24 hours as far as we can tell so far. Nothing for identification on any of the bodies. One of my men recognized one of the men from a bust he did last week. Says his name was Barry Witherspoon.

BRADY: Witherspoon…Witherspoon… Didn’t we bust him with an ounce of heroin about 2 years back?

WILCOX: Same guy..he was out on bail.

BRADY: Four dead bodies in less than 72 hours. Looks like we’re going to be putting in some overtime.

WILCOX: I already called the wife.

The camera pans out and fades out as the officers go about their business inspecting the scene. Cameras can be seen flashing in the distance from on looking reporters.

Scene 5: The back room of a small sanitation dump.

There are several men sitting in a room waiting for a meeting to start. The men are waiting for Joe to show up.

TMARCELLI: Is the Old Man gonna be with Joe?

DUKE: No idea

DONAVON: I heard the cops found those guys that did that big deal for T.

TMARCELLI: That can’t be good.

The door opens and Joe walks in with his Boss and two other men the others know only as the twins.

JAY DA WOP: Let’s get right to the point and get out of here. Our little brother was clipped for a piece of shit territory by a piece of shit cocksucker who I want brought to me..alive! I don’t know where this gutless cocksucker is hiding, but I want you guys to find him.

Joe stands up and stands behind his brother Jay. He looks at the other men in the room.

JOE: Word on the street is that the guy behind it was Gaetano Totino. This guy is crazy. He killed Victor to make a statement. To get our attention. Well he got it. Our brother was also a Made Member of this family. This is an inexcusable action and WE WILL find this cock sucker!

JAY DA WOP: You guys find him and bring him to me. I want this son of a bitch to suffer. Victor didn’t deserve this…he was a good kid.

TMARCELLI: Consider it done.

The camera pans back as the men get up from the table and leave the room. Joe and Jay are the last to leave the room. As Joe leaves the room, he pauses for a moment to look at a picture of Jay, Victor and Joe hanging on the wall of the office. He looks at Victor for a moment, then turns off the light as the scene fades out.

Scene 6: Police Department Sunday 6pm

Captain Brady is sipping his morning coffee reading some notes and looking at crime scene photos. He is looking over the rap sheet of Barry Witherspoon. He is trying to figure out why the man was found murdered and who the other two men were that were found with him. As he studies the photos, a knock is heard at his office door.

BRADY: Come in.

Sergeant Wilcox enters his office and throws an envelope on his desk. Inside the envelope are surveillance photos of one of the dead men found with Witherspoon. The surveillance photos also show pictures of known mob members.

BRADY: What’s this?

WILCOX: Surveillance shots.

BRADY: Well I can see that, who are they.

WILCOX: the dead guy, his name was Troy Bains. The guy in the picture with him is known as Paulie Delucia. We don’t know if that is his real name or an alias at this point but I got some guys on it.

BRADY: What you got on Delucia?

WILCOX: FBI says he is a Captain in the Genovese Crime Family and that he has ties to the Gomezabino brothers.

BRADY: Now we’re getting somewhere. I am willing to bet money that these guys had something to do with the Victor Gomezabino shooting. We need more men working on this. This could be huge.

WILCOX: Yes Sir!

Wilcox leaves Brady’s office and Brady begins to make phone calls as the camera fades to the next scene.
