There are girls on the stage dancing and loud music playing in the background. Carlito Gomezabino, cousin of Jay and Joe, is seen sitting at the stage having a drink and watching the girls. He is smoking a cigarette and takes a drag just as the sound of the doors opening can be heard. He turns to look and See's John and Mac come walking in. He puts out his smoke and walks over to them. He hugs them both and he motions for them to go into the back office with him. They all walk back and go into the office and Carlito closes the door behind them. They all take a seat and Carlito pours them all a drink as they begin to talk.

John: So what's up? It sounded urgent on the phone.

Carlito: It's about Sonny... I think I know who killed him.

Mac: I have a feeling we aint gonna like this.

John: (Takes a sip of his drink) So who did it?

Carlito: Word on the street is that Danny P, Joey C and Andy the Greek were picked up by the cops. Apparently when they were informed that they were being charged with the murder of Sonny Provenzano, they all flipped and said they were on orders by Jimmy Piatoni.

Mac: If Jimmy was involved, you know it was done by Totino..am I the only one who sees this connection?

John: A fuckin blind man can see this connection. We need to be sure. You find out if those idiots are still in jail, if they are, we need to get to them..if they are out, I want them gone as soon as possible.

Mac: I will go see my cop out there, I am sure he can tell us what's going on.

Carlito: If Totino catches wind of this, he is going to come after us himself.

John: If he is smart, he will let things play out and hope he doesn't get clipped himself.

Carlito: If he was behind Sonny being killed, he will have more than his turncoats to worry about.

John: I agree, I will go see the ole man and see what his opinions on this are.

Carlito: Here... (handing John an envelope) this is your take from that job the guys did last week.

John: Job? what job?

Carlito: Jimmy got the boys to hit that armoured car the cops were using to transport that big coke bust from over in Nutley.

John: (Looks at Mac) Did you know about this?

Mac: Not a clue Boss.

Carlito: Hey, I don't want to get anyone in trouble, I assumed you were in on the job.

John: I bet a lot of people did. I think we better find out who set this all up. You guys know the Bosses rule on dealing drugs.

Carlito: I know the rules, but those fucking rules are for the old regime's.. it is a new day. We can't feed ourselves on carting and waste for ever?

John: You are right, and we all know that. But this is a time honoured tradition of ours and if you of all people can't understand that, why are you a Lieutenant?

Carlito: I understand the rules, I am just saying, those old moustache Pete's had it easy. This day and age, you got to be really fuckin smart if you are going to find a racket that pays well enough to make your nut every week.

Mac: You can never go wrong with the shylock biz.

Carlito: That's not my thing.. John, listen..we can make some serious money doing this, and my crew, they can get it done without any repercussions on us. Fuck man, the Boss is in the can and we are fucking starving here.

John: We're going to have to see if we can persuade the Boss. The rule was instilled by Vito and enforced violently back in Vito's day, but like you say..it's a new day..

Scene 2: CWPD Headquarters:

Captain Brady is on the phone in his office. The office is full of smoke from his cigarettes he has been chain smoking for the past hour. A knock at the door is heard and Wilcox walks in holding some documents. He throws them on the table in front of Brady. Brady, looking up at him ties up the conversation on the phone.

Brady: (taking on the phone) Yeah, Vic, I'm gonna have to call you back. (He hangs up the phone). What's this?

Wilcox: Job Security, that's what that is. Signed statements from 3 members of the Degrazzio organization that say they will testify to killing Sonny Provenzano on orders from Capo, Jimmy Piatoni.

Brady: (Stands up and shakes Wilcox's hand) Great job pal, great job indeed. I will call Irene Waters and tell her the god news and they can begin working on a plan of attack.

Wilcox: You want me to bring Piatoni in for questioning?

Brady: Yes, maybe we can get him to cut a deal with us.

Wilcox: I smell a promotion coming. (They both start to laugh when the phone rings and Brady answers.)

Brady: Hello, Brady here...hello Miss Waters, I was just about to call you....yes....I will be right over. (Brady hangs up the phone.

Brady: I gotta go, you start the ball rolling. I want to see Piatoni in custody by the time I get back.

Wilcox: Already on it.

The scene ends as both men exit the office and the camera pans to the ashtray full of cigarette buts.

Scene 3: City Hall

Irene Waters is sitting with another Lawyer outside the City Hall building on a bench near the entrance. They are going over some paper work when Captain Brady pulls up out front in his car. He shuts it off and gets out and walks over to them. Waters looks up and smiles as he walks up.

Waters: Thank you for comin on such short notice Captain.

Brady: My pleasure in this case. ( He hands Miss Waters the documents he got from Wilcox.)

Miss Waters and the other lawyer begin reading over the documents. As she is reading a huge smile comes across her face and she almost seems like she will burst into giggles. She looks up at Brady with a wide smile across her face.

Waters: Is this what I think it is?

Brady: Oh don't worry, you aren't dreaming.

Miss Waters lets out a scream of excitement and hugs Brady and then hugs the other lawyer.

Waters: With these witnesses, and if we can get Piatoni to cooperate, we could bring down the rest of this organization in one big sweep.

Brady: We are going to need the help of the CWFBI to hide these guys. We already know what happened to the other CW we had.

Waters: We will arrange a Safehouse for them out of the country.

Brady: Nobody can know about this, not even me. You have to insist that this be of the utmost importance!

Waters: Captain, you do not have to convince me. I have spent the last 5 years of my life, dedicating every spare minute to bringing down this organization of murdering thieves that call themselves a family!

Brady: If we get Piatoni to flip..we will have this one in the bag!

Waters: I assume you already have someone picking up Mr. Piatoni?

Brady: As a matter of fact they should be picking him up now.

Waters: See to it that your office contacts us when Piatoni is in custody. His lawyer will be there already I am sure.

Brady: You can bank on it.

The scene fades as Brady leaves in his car and drives off down the road.

Scene 4: Piatoni's house

Jimmy is cooking breakfast and watching the news. He sees the report of his guys being arrested. He is visibly upset and throws his breakfast across the room. He picks up the phone and begins to dial when the doorbell rings. He hesitates for a moment then hangs up the phone and goes to the door. He stands for a moment then yells out.. "Who is it?". A voice on the otherside of the door identifies itself as the police. Nervously Jimmy scrambles to hide his gun in the closet behind the door. he quickly unlocks the door and opens it. He sees Carlito standing there and Jimmy suddenly gets confused.

Jimmy: What the fuck you doin, trying to give me a heart attack with that shit?

Carlito: (Laughing) Yeah I thought you would get a kick out of that.

Jimmy: Jesus Christ, get in here before I catch a fuckin cold.

Jimmy turns to walk inside and 2 shots ring out as Jimmy hits the floor dead. Carlito walks up and pumps 2 more into his skull. Carlito then runs away and moments later the police show up to arrest Jimmy. The officers walk up the pathway and are about to knock on the door when they see Jimmy laying on the floor dead.

Cop #1: Bravo 6 to base

Base: Go ahead.

Cop #1: We have an 11-44 here please confirm.

Base: Copy that, sending CSI units to the scene. Stand by for direct line with the coroners office.

Cop #1: 10-4, Bravo 6 out.

The scene ends with the police putting up caution lines and do not cross lines.

Scene 5: Carlito's club

Carlito, as usual, is sitting at the bar having a drink and a cigarette. He is talking to John as a dancer is doing her thing in front of them.

John: The Ole man is real pleased with that piece of work you did for him.

Carlito: Was the least I could do. I never liked that fuck anyway.

John: Charlie, listen... The Boss is making you Captain of the Piatoni crew.

Carlito looks at John and can barely contain his excitement. He stands up and orders a round of drinks for the house. Everyone starts to cheer and the dancer reaches down and kisses Carlito. John smiles and has another drink as Carlito enjoys the dancer for a bit. meanwhile, across town at the CWPD headquarters, the Feds are in the middle of transporting their new witnesses to their new Safehouse. They are flanked by over 20 armed guards fully equipped to take on any force they encounter. Brady is watching through a window as Irene Waters is standing by the truck watching as they load them into the truck. He is smiling as they are getting in one by one. Miss Waters is also smiling as they get the last of the three men into he truck. Brady turns to light up a smoke and suddenly a loud explosion is heard and instantaneously the windows in the building are blown out and Brady is sent flying into the wall of his office. Irene Waters, the three witnesses and all 20 guards are killed in the explosion. Brady is bleeding badly and unconscious as all kinds of alarms can be heard from every direction. Smoke is billowing from every direction and half the building is on fire. Bits and pieces of human parts are strewn all about and the foul stench of burnt flesh is permeating the air.

The camera pans out as bodies can be seen lying in pieces everywhere and Brady can be seen laying on the floor of his office as officers rush in from out in the hall.
